Project Description: Livingston is a 524 ha (1,295 acres) mixed-use development located in north-central Calgary, Alberta. The development includes an urban corridor along Centre Street, which includes the ultimate alignment of the Green Line LRT. This urban corridor, along with the relatively steep topography, presents a unique set of challenges for LBC to design cost-effective infrastructure solutions. Livingston has a full spectrum of residential housing types in distinct neighborhoods and a comprehensive open space system. At ultimate buildout, Livingston will be home to more than 30,000 people and will include a community center, homeowners association, 6 schools, and 4 storm ponds, including the new trademarked Stormwater Kidney system. LBC Engineering is providing comprehensive design, construction management, and project management services on this exciting project.

Project Description: Cranston’s Riverstone is a unique community located along the banks of the Bow River and a natural escarpment that is over 50 m high. Due to these existing natural features, specific design features were incorporated throughout the development to integrate the mix of residential housing types into the surrounding natural areas. When complete, nearly 6,500 people will call Cranston’s Riverstone home. LBC Engineering is providing full design, construction management, and project management services on this project.

Project Description: Cityscape Stage 3 is a master-planned residential development located in northeast Calgary with an open space network and a mix of single detached, semi-detached homes, row townhomes, and mid-rise multifamily. The community is built around a maintained 46.5 ha (115 acre) central wetland complex, which is a focal point of the community. Once built out, the community will be home to over 4,500 residents over an area of 55.7 hectares (137.6 acres).

Project Description: Sora is a new community located in the southeast part of Calgary, just east of Stoney Trail and north of Hwy 22x. Sora is a mainly residential community which includes a 2.98 ha (7.4 acre) commercial site and is centered around a large, reconstructed wetland. Project Description: Westcreek’s Rose Ranch development will be a mainly residential 129.5 ha (320 acre) community in the southeast part of Calgary, just east of Seton.  The community will sit next to a large, serene wetland while being only steps away from the South Health Campus, Seton Recreation Centre, a Calgary Public Library, and Seton Urban District.  When complete, nearly 7,700 people will call Westcreek’s Rose Ranch home. Project Description: Hazel is a new community located in the southeast part of Calgary, just east of Stoney Trail and north of Hwy 22x.  Hazel is a mainly residential community covering an area of 64.9 ha (160.3 acres) and is centered around a large, reconstructed wetland. The community also includes a second storm pond and a school site. Once complete, over 4,000 people will call Hazel home. Project Description: Kitstone is a 178 ha (440 acre) vibrant new agrihood community located in the Town of Carstairs. The agrihood will contain a mix of residential built forms, including single-family, duplex, townhomes, and multi-residential, providing housing opportunities for a variety of people at different stages of life, as well as commercial and industrial sites that support farming, greenhouses, community gardening spaces, food markets, and agricultural research.

Project Description: Sandstone is a 166 ha (411 acres) development located within the southwest corner of Okotoks and is part of the West Okotoks Area Structure Plan (WOASP). The development will include multiple land uses and integrate with the existing ravine and wetland located on the property. The project is expected to contain approximately 3,000 homes.

Project Description: Wolf Willow is a 198 ha (490 acre) residential development located in southeast Calgary bordered by the Bow River to the east, a 50 m high escarpment to the west, and the Blue Devil Golf Course to the north.  The development will ultimately consist of a mix of single detached, semi-detached, townhouse, and multi-family homes and will be home to over 10,000 people. Other key features of the community include a designated dog park and multiple roundabouts within the community, minimizing the need for streetlights. Project Description: Bellwether is a 63.6 ha (157 acre) residential and mixed-use development in southeast Calgary, located southeast of the East Hills Shopping Centre. The development will consist of a mix of single detached, semi-detached, townhouse, multifamily homes, and mixed-use development and will ultimately house approximately 10,000 people. Other key features of the development include a school site, several community parks, and a 2.4 ha (6.0 acre) emergency services site. LBC Engineering is providing comprehensive design, construction management, and project management services on this project.

Project Description: Clearwater is a 110 ha (272 acre) residential and mixed-use development located in the eastern portion of the City of Chestermere and is part of the Clearwater Park Area Structure Plan. The development will ultimately consist of a mix of single detached, semi-detached, townhouse, multi-family homes and a retirement living campus, eventually housing approximately 4,800 people. Other notable features of the community include an exclusive community clubhouse equipped with an outdoor skating rink, an indoor pool, and special event spaces, as well as a 17 km pathway system and recreation center. LBC Engineering is providing comprehensive design, construction management, and project management services on this project.

Project Description: Painted Sky is a 108 ha (267 acre) residential development located in Langdon, Rocky View County. Key features of the community include a 5.0 ha commercial gateway node, 2.8 km of pathways, four playgrounds, and six parks.
